Since [the present day is significant] — tonight, there is a full moon and today was a Tuesday, a day associated with the repetition of the phrase, “And G‑d saw that it was good” — money will be distributed to be given to tzedakah. Whoever adds [from his own funds], will surely add [to the blessings G‑d will grant him].
