B”H, the thirtieth day after the passing
of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, הכ"מ
Greetings and blessings,
I received your letter of Wednesday, 5 Adar.
With regard to your question about traveling and settling [in a different place],1 it appears to me that you should sit down [with] three good friends and describe the situation to them in detail.2 The decision they make should [address] what is best for you in material and spiritual matters.
If it is possible, it would be desirable that before coming to a decision, both these three individuals — and of course, yourself — recite a chapter of Tehillim and study a portion of the maamar [published for] Yud Shvat.3
Today, the thirtieth day [after the Rebbe’s passing], while at [his] gravesite, I mentioned you for good.
With blessing,
Rabbi Menachem Schneerson
