Note the letter from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe Shlita, published as an addendum.2
You will undoubtedly acknowledge receipt of the kuntres. Enclosed is a receipt for [the money sent] for the verses for Atah Horeisa.3

I do not want to delay sending the kuntres until I complete my answer [to your question] concerning the maamar entitled Zeh HaYom.4Without committing myself with a vow, [I hope] to answer in the coming week.
For a particular reason, a receipt was sent [by the committee] for maamad for $10 (that you lent my revered mother at that time;5 I paid the sum here;) with R. Naftuli Dulitzki who will pass through Paris.
