With gratitude to Hashem I am pleased to publish a collection of practical Halachos that I have discussed at pre-Pesach Shiurim over the past fourteen years. While some points are fairly obvious, others may come more as a surprise to some readers. Invariably, sources have been provided in the Hebrew footnotes, throughout. [References to Nitey Gavriel are to the 2nd edition, 5753]. Some of the footnotes also include the arguments upon which the conclusions in the main text are founded. Longer notes have been relegated to Miluim, on pages 36-38.
It is hoped that this collection will enhance somewhat the awareness and observance of the numerous aspects of Pesach, our Festival of Liberation.
May Hashem grant that we witness the fulfillment of that which our Sages have said: “In Nissan they were redeemed and in Nissan they are destined to be redeemed”, ushering in an era of worldwide peace and tranquility, heralded by the advent of the Righteous Mashiach, NOW ממ"ש.
